Vijay will provide appointment orders to 32 eligible family members for positions in departments including municipal administration and revenue. The move follows the financial assistance of ₹20 lakh provided by him to each deceased family shortly after the tragedy.
During his visit, Vijay will also lay the foundation stone for a ₹1,700 crore footwear manufacturing plant, which is expected to generate employment opportunities for 13,500 people.
